सत्येंद्र नाथ बोस यांना भारत सरकारने देशातील दुसरा सर्वोच्च नागरी पुरस्कार पद्म विभूषण देऊन गौरवले आहे. हा त्यांना भौतिकशास्त्रातील योगदानाबद्दल देण्यात आला आहे.
जगभरातील आघाडीचं सर्च इंजिन गूगल कडून आज भारतीय गणिततज्ञ आणि भौतिकशास्त्रज्ञ सत्येंद्र नाथ बोस (Satyendra Nath Bose) यांना डूडल च्या माध्यमातून आदरांजली अर्पण करण्यात आली आहे. आजच्या डूडल वर सत्येंद्रनाथ वैज्ञानिक प्रयोग करताना दिसत आहेत. आजच्याच दिवशी 1924 साली बोस यांनी त्यांची क्वांटम फॉर्म्युलेशन (Quantum Formulations)अल्बर्ट आइनस्टाईन यांना पाठवली, ज्यांनी याला क्वांटम मेकॅनिक्समधील महत्त्वपूर्ण शोध म्हणून संबोधले.
