4,603 यात्रेकरूंपैकी 1,933 उत्तर काश्मीर बालटाल मार्गाने आणि 2,670 दक्षिण काश्मीर नुमवान (पहलगाम) बेस कॅम्पला जात आहेत.
जम्मू आणि काश्मीरचे लेफ्टनंट राज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा यांनी आज अमरनाथ यात्रेला निघालेल्या यात्रेकरूंच्या पहिल्या तुकडीला हिरवा झेंडा दाखवला आहे. त्यानंतर हिमालयातील गुहेच्या यात्रेला सुरुवात झाली आहे. धार्मिक मंत्रपठणाच्या गजरात, 4,603 यात्रेकरूंची तुकडी भगवती नगर यात्री निवास येथून दोन एस्कॉर्टेड ताफ्यांमधून रवाना करण्यात आली आहे. 4,603 यात्रेकरूंपैकी 1,933 उत्तर काश्मीर बालटाल मार्गाने आणि 2,670 दक्षिण काश्मीर नुमवान (पहलगाम) बेस कॅम्पला जात आहेत.
