रिलायन्स जिओची 5G कनेक्टिव्हिटी आता जगातील सर्वात उंच युद्धभूमी, सियाचीन ग्लेशियर येथे उभारण्यात आली आहे. पहिल्याच प्रयत्नात, भारतीय सैन्याच्या फायर अँड फ्युरी कॉर्प्सने, जिओ टेलिकॉमच्या सहकार्याने, सियाचीन ग्लेशियरवर पहिला 5G मोबाइल टॉवर उभारला आहे. 13 जानेवारी 2025 रोजी एका सोशल मीडिया पोस्टद्वारे याची माहिती देण्यात आली आहे. Fire and Fury Signallers आणि सियाचीन वॉरियर्सने उत्तर ग्लेशियरवर 5G BTS उभा करण्यासाठी कठोर भूभाग आणि -40 अंश सेल्सिअसपेक्षा कमी तापमानावर मात केली."
