FIFA, फेडरेशन ऑफ फुटबॉलने एक मोठा निर्णय घेत पाकिस्तान फुटबॉल महासंघाला (Pakistan Football Federation) निलंबित केल्याची घोषणा केली आहे. फिफाने हा निर्णय तृतीय वर्गाच्या हस्तक्षेपामुळे घेतला आहे. हे फिफाच्या (FIFA) महत्त्वपूर्ण नियमांचे उल्लंघन आहे. PFF ला यापुढे फिफाकडून कोणतीही आर्थिक मदत मिळणार नाही, ज्यामुळे देशातील खेळाची आर्थिक परिस्थिती बिकट होईल आणि विकास प्रकल्प थांबतील. फिफाने आपल्या निवेदनात म्हटले की, “पीएफएफ (PFF) मुख्यालयाच्या ताब्यात घेतल्यानंतर नुकत्याच झालेल्या निवडणुकांमुळे हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. FIFA ने अध्यक्ष हारून मलिक यांच्या नेतृत्वात स्थापन केलेली विशेष समिती काढून टाकली. तृतीय वर्गाचा हा हस्तक्षेप नियमांच्या विरोधात आहे. आम्हाला हा निर्णय घेण्यास भाग पाडले जात आहे.”
