कोरोनाचा नवीन प्रकार ओमायक्रॉनचा धोका दिवसेंदिवस वाढत आहे. ज्या वेगाने या व्हेरिएंटची प्रकरणे समोर येत आहेत, त्यामुळे चिंताही वाढत आहे. दरम्यान, महाराष्ट्रात आणखी आठ नवीन रुग्णांची पुष्टी झाली आहे. त्यानंतर देशात ओमायक्रॉनची 109 प्रकरणे समोर आली आहेत. कोविड-19 चा ओमायक्रॉन प्रकार आतापर्यंत भारतातील 11 राज्यांमध्ये पसरला आहे. देशातील ओमायक्रॉनच्या वाढत्या आकडेवारीत महाराष्ट्रात सर्वाधिक संक्रमित लोक आहेत. राज्यात आतापर्यंत एकूण पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्णांची संख्या 40 वर पोहोचली आहे.
