Omicron sub-variant Not Fatal for Brain:ओमिक्रॉनचा सब व्हेरिएंट बाबत वायरल होत असलेल्या 'या' खोट्या रिपोर्ट्सबाबत PIB चा खुलासा
ओमिक्रॉन सबव्हेरिएंट मेंदू निष्क्रिय करून मृत्यू होऊ शकतो असा वायरल होणारा मेसेज खोटा आहे.
सध्या ओमिक्रॉनचा सब व्हेरिएंट BF7 मुळे जगभरात पुन्हा कोरोना रूग्णसंख्येत वाढ होत असल्याचं दिसत आहे. परिणामी भारत सरकार देखील अलर्ट मोड वर गेलं असून काही निर्बंध कडक केले आहेत. पण यामुळे सोशल मीडीयात काही फेक न्यूज देखील पसरत आहेत. त्यापैकीच एक म्हणजे ओमिक्रॉन सबव्हेरिएंट मेंदू निष्क्रिय करून मृत्यू होऊ शकतो. पण पीआयबी फॅक्ट चेक कडून मात्र त्याला फेटाळण्यात आलं आहे. अद्याप अभ्यासामध्ये या व्हेरिएंटचा आणि मानवाच्या आरोग्यावर त्याच्या होणार्या परिणामांचा कोणताही दावा सिद्ध झालेला नाही असे सांगण्यात आलं आहे. नक्की वाचा: India Developed Herd Immunity: भारतात अपयशी ठरेल कोरोनाची लाट; इथल्या लोकांमध्ये तयार झाली आहे हर्ड इम्युनिटी, जाणून घ्या एम्सच्या डॉक्टरांचे मत .
