भूषण गागराणी हे 1990 च्या बॅचचे IAS अधिकारी आहेत. मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांचे ते अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव होते.
बीएमसीचा कारभार इकबाल सिंह चहल यांच्या बदलीनंतर आता 1990 च्या बॅचचे आयएएस अधिकारी भूषण गगराणी यांच्या हातामध्ये देण्यात आला आहे. भूषण गागराणी यांच्या नियुक्तीचे पत्र महाराष्ट्र मुख्य निवडणूक आयुक्तांकडून केंद्रीय निवडणूक आयोगाकडे देण्यात आले आहे. दरम्यान ECI ने स्वगृही जिल्ह्यांत आणि एकाच ठिकाणी 3 वर्षपेक्षा अधिक काम करणार्या अधिकार्यांना हटवण्याच्ये निर्देश दिले आहेत त्यानुसार आता गागराणी मुंबईचे नवे आयुक्त झाले आहेत. ECI चा दणका; बीएमसी आयुक्त Iqbal Singh Chahal सह अतिरिक्त आयुक्त, उपायुक्तांना हटवलं .
