Zoom Layoffs: 1300 कर्मचाऱ्यांना काढल्यानंतर कंपनी आणखी एक मोठी घोषणा, अध्यक्ष ग्रेग टॉम्ब यांची हकालपट्टी

व्हिडिओ कम्युनिकेशन क्षेत्रातील दिग्गज झूम (Zoom) कंपनीची संबंधित एक मोठी बातमी समोर आली आहे. झूमचे सीईओ एरिक युआन (CEO Eric Yuan) यांनी गेल्या महिन्यात कंपनीतून 1,300 कर्मचाऱ्यांना काढून टाकण्याची घोषणा केली होती. पण यावेळी कंपनीने अचानक आपले अध्यक्ष ग्रेग टॉम्ब (Zoom President Greg Tomb) यांना काढून टाकले आहे. झूमने रेगुलेटरी फाइलिंगमध्ये त्याचे अध्यक्ष ग्रेग टॉम्ब्स यांना काही कारण ने देता पदावरुन काढत असल्याची घोषणा केली आहे. या पदासाठी ग्रेग टॉम्ब यांची निवड जून २०२२ मध्येच झाली होती. म्हणजेच त्यांचा कार्यकाळ 1 वर्ष पूर्ण व्हायच्या आतच त्यांना काढून टाकण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. कंपनीच्या या अचानक निर्णयामुळे सगळेच आश्चर्यचकित झाले आहेत.
