Mumbai Masjid Controversy: धारावी येथील मशिदीचे अनधिकृत बांधकाम (Masjid Controversy)तोडण्यासाठी गेलेल्या महानगरपालिकेच्या गाडीवर मुस्लिम समुदायाकडून जोरदार विरोध करण्यात आला. त्यामुळे दिवसभर तेथे तणावाची (Dharavi Violence)परिस्थीती पहायला मिळाली. धारावीतील नागरिकांनी पालिकेच्या वाहनाची तोडफोड केली. महानगरपालिकेच्या गाडी दाखल होताच नागरिकांनी रास्ता रोको आंदोलन केले. आंदोलनात पुरूषांसह महिला आणि तरूणांचाही मोठा सहभाग पहायला मिळाला. नागरिकांनी प्रसारमाध्यमांना दिलेल्या मुलाखतीत नाराजी व्यक्त करत, 'मशीदीची होणारी तोडफोड आमच्या भावनांशी होणारा खेळ आहे,' असे म्हटले आहे.
