महिलांच्या शाम्पू, लोशन, बॉडी सोप मध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात कॅन्सर ला कारणीभूत केमिकल्स आढळली- अभ्यासातून समोर आला दावा

एका अभ्यासात करण्यात आलेल्या दाव्यानुसार, महिलांच्या अनेक उत्पादनांमध्ये फॉर्मल्डिहाइड आढळले आहे. हे एक ज्ञात कर्करोगजनक आहे. जरी हे रसायन कर्करोगाशी जोडलेले असले तरी, ते सामान्यतः शाम्पू, लोशन, बॉडी सोप आणि आयलॅश ग्लू सारख्या उत्पादनांमध्ये तसेच त्याचे शेल्फ लाइफ वाढवण्यासाठी वापरले जाते.  The journal Environmental Science & Technology Letters कडून हा अभ्यास प्रकाशित करण्यात आला आहे. 64 महिलांपैकी, संशोधकांना असे आढळून आले की 53% महिलांनी साबण, लोशन, शाम्पू, कंडिशनर, स्किन लाईटनर, आयलाइनर, आयलॅश ग्लू आणि इतर सौंदर्य उत्पादने वापरली ज्यात फॉर्मल्डिहाइड आणि फॉर्मल्डिहाइड-रिलीझिंग प्रिझर्वेटिव्ह्ज होते.
