दिल्लीच्या कोर्टाने 2008 साली खून झालेल्या पत्रकार Saumya Vishwanathan च्या हत्येमध्ये चारही आरोपींना जन्मठेपेची शिक्षा सुनावली आहे. 30 सप्टेंबर 2008 साली सौम्याची तिच्या कारमध्ये हत्या झाली होती. ही घटना वसंत कुंज परिसरामध्ये झाली होती. कामावरून परतत असताना तिचा खून झाला. रवि कपूर, अमित शुक्ला, बलजीत मलिक आणि अजय कुमार अशी आरोपींची नावं आहेत.
