सोमवारी संध्याकाळी 3.34 वाजता त्रिपुरातील खोवाई येथे लोकांना भूकंपाचे धक्के जाणवले, नॅशनल सेंटर फॉर सिस्मॉलॉजीनुसार, रिश्टर स्केलवर त्याची तीव्रता 3.8 होती. मात्र, अद्याप कोणतीही जीवित किंवा वित्तहानी झाल्याचे वृत्त नाही. मात्र भूकंपानंतरही लोकांच्या चेहऱ्यावर भीती स्पष्टपणे दिसत आहे.
