वानखेडे स्टेडियममध्ये आता क्रिकेटच्या देवाचा एक भव्य दिव्य पुतळा बसवला जाणार आहे.
वानखेडे स्टेडियममध्ये (Wankhede stadium) क्रिकेटचा देव सचिन तेंडुलकरचा (Sachin Tendulkar) भव्य पुतळा बसवण्यात येणार आहे. या पुतळ्याचे अनावरण 24 एप्रिलला सचिन तेंडुलकरच्या 50 व्या वाढदिवसाला किंवा यंदाच्या विश्वचषकादरम्यान केले जाऊ शकते अशी माहिती क्रिकेट अधिकाऱ्यांकडून देण्यात आली आहे. सचिन तेंडुलकरने भारतासाठी 200 कसोटी सामने, 463 एकदिवसीय आणि एक टी-20 सामना खेळला आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेटमध्ये सर्वाधिक शतके (100) आणि धावा (34,357) करण्याचा विक्रम सचिनच्या नावावर आहे. मुंबई क्रिकेट असोशिएशनने (MCA) हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला असून या निर्णयावर सचिन तेंडूलकर यांनी आश्चर्य व्यक्त केले आहे.
