क्रिकेटचे दिग्गज आणि भारतरत्न सचिन तेंडुलकर (Sachin Tendulkar) यांच्या सन्मानात आणखी एका रत्नाची भर पडणार आहे. मुंबई क्रिकेट असोसिएशन (MCA) वानखेडे स्टेडियमवर तेंडुलकरचा पुतळा बसवणार आहे. सचिन तेंडुलकरच्या वाढदिवशी त्याचे अनावरण केले जाऊ शकते असे बोलले जात होते, परंतु तेव्हा तसे झाले नाही. आता त्याचे अनावरण 1 नोव्हेंबरला होणार आहे. अहमदनगरचे चित्रकार-शिल्पकार प्रमोद कांबळे हे सचिन तेंडुलकरच्या पुतळ्यावर काम करत आहेत.
