मुंबई मध्ये आजही पश्चिम रेल्वे मार्गावर काही एसी लोकल फेर्‍या रद्द करून त्या नॉन एसी चालवल्या जाणार असल्याची माहिती देण्यात आली आहे. रेल्वेने तांत्रिक त्रृटींचं कारण देत  या लोकल फेर्‍या रद्द असल्याचं सांगितलं आहे. एसी लोकलला प्रवाशांचा मोठा प्रतिसाद आहे पण सध्या या लोकल फेर्‍या थांबवण्यात आल्या आहेत. कालही अशाच प्र्कारे काही लोकल फेर्‍या रद्द करण्यात आल्या होत्या. सध्या पावसाने दडी मारल्याने आणि हवेतील आर्द्रता वाढली असल्याने उकडा जाणवत आहे. अशात आता एसी लोकल रद्द झाली असल्याने अनेकांना घामाघूम होऊन प्रवास करावा लागणार आहे.
