महानगर गॅस लिमिटेड (MGL) ने सांगितले आहे की त्यांनी 12 एप्रिल 2022 च्या मध्यरात्रीपासून घरगुती पाइप्ड नॅचरल गॅस (PNG) आणि कॉम्प्रेस्ड नॅचरल गॅस (CNG) च्या किमती अनुक्रमे 4.50 रुपये आणि आणि 5 रुपये/किलोने वाढवल्या आहेत. त्यानुसार, सीएनजीच्या सर्व करांसह सुधारित किंमत 72रुपये/किलो असेल आणि देशांतर्गत पीएनजी किंमत 45.50/SCM असेल. 1 एप्रिल 2022 पासून देशांतर्गत उत्पादित नैसर्गिक वायूची विक्री किंमत भारत सरकारने 110% ने वाढवली आहे, शिवाय, री-गॅसिफाइड एलएनजीची किंमतदेखील वाढली आहे.
