12 April The Day In History: भारतातील पहिली डबल डेकर ट्रेन Sinhagad Express आज झाली 44 वर्षांची
सिंहगड एक्स्प्रेस 1978 साली पहिल्यांदा तत्कालीन व्हिक्टोरिया टर्मिनस आणि आताचं सीएसएमटी स्टेशन ते पुणे दरम्यान धावली होती.
भारतातील पहिली डबल डेकर ट्रेन Sinhagad Express आज 44 वर्षांची झाली आहे. ही ट्रेन 1978 साली पहिल्यांदा तत्कालीन व्हिक्टोरिया टर्मिनस आणि आताचं सीएसएमटी स्टेशन ते पुणे दरम्यान धावली होती. ही ट्रेन सुरूवातीला जनता एक्स्प्रेस म्हणून चालवली गेली आणि नंतर आता किल्ल्याच्या नावाने अर्थात सिंहगड एक्सप्रेस म्हणून चालवली जाते.
