Obscene Content On Social Media, OTT: अश्लील कंटेंट प्रसारण प्रकरणी सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने बजावली केंद्र सरकार, ओटीटी, सोशल मीडिया प्लॅटफॉर्मना नोटीस
ओटीटी, सोशल मीडिया प्लॅटफॉर्मवर sexually explicit content चे स्ट्रिमिंग रोखण्याच्या याचिकेने महत्त्वाच्या चिंता निर्माण केल्या आहेत, असे सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने म्हटले आहे.
ओटीटी आणि सोशल मीडिया प्लॅटफॉर्मवर अश्लील गोष्टींच्या (Obscene Content) बंदीसाठी केंद्राला योग्य पावले उचलण्याचे निर्देश देण्याची मागणी करणाऱ्या जनहित याचिकेवर आज (28 एप्रिल)सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने केंद्र सरकार, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Ullu, ALTT, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube आणि इतरांना नोटीस बजावली आहे. ओटीटी, सोशल मीडिया प्लॅटफॉर्मवर sexually explicit content चे स्ट्रिमिंग रोखण्याच्या याचिकेने महत्त्वाच्या चिंता निर्माण केल्या आहेत, असे सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने म्हटले आहे. न्यायालयाने केंद्राला "तुम्ही याबद्दल काहीतरी करणं आवश्यक आहे." असं म्हटलं आहे.
