New Criminal Laws: IPC ऐवजी 1 जुलैपासून देशात लागू होणार 3 नवीन फौजदारी कायदे
भारतीय न्याय संहिता, भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता आणि भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम, असे या तीन नवीन फौजदारी कायद्यांची नावे आहेत.
New Criminal Laws: ब्रिटिश काळातील भारतीय दंड संहिता (IPC) आणि भारतीय पुरावा कायदा, आणि फौजदारी प्रक्रिया संहिता (CrPC) च्या जागी तीन नवीन फौजदारी कायदे 1 जुलैपासून लागू होतील, असं सरकारने शनिवारी एका अधिसूचनेत म्हटले आहे. भारतीय न्याय संहिता, भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता आणि भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम, असे या तीन नवीन फौजदारी कायद्यांची नावे आहेत. ऑगस्ट 2023 मध्ये संसदेच्या पावसाळी अधिवेशनात ही तीन विधेयके पहिल्यांदा मांडण्यात आली होती. राष्ट्रपती द्रौपदी मुर्मू यांनी गेल्या डिसेंबरमध्ये त्यांना संमती दिली होती. गृहखात्याच्या स्थायी समितीने अनेक शिफारशी केल्यानंतर हिवाळी अधिवेशनात नव्याने तयार केलेले विधेयक मांडण्यात आले. गेल्या वर्षी संसदेत यासंदर्भातील विधेयक मांडताना केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा म्हणाले होते की, नवीन कायदे भारतीयत्व, भारतीय संविधान आणि लोकांच्या कल्याणावर भर देतात. तीन कायद्यांतर्गत सर्व यंत्रणा लागू झाल्यानंतर, भारतीय फौजदारी न्याय व्यवस्था पाच वर्षांत जगातील सर्वात प्रगत होईल.
