इस्लामाबाद (Islamabad) येथील भारतीय उच्चायुक्तांनी 7 नोव्हेंबर रोजी सांगितले की, पाकिस्तानमधील भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतांची टीम गुरुपूरबसाठी (Gurupurab) पाकिस्तानला भेट देणाऱ्या शीख जथ्यांना मदत करत आहे. जथा नेते, स्थानिक अधिकारी यांच्याशी समन्वय साधत आहे. पाकिस्तानातील विविध गुरुद्वारांना त्यांच्या भेटीची सोय करा. व्हिसा दहा दिवसांसाठी वैध आहे, आणि ज्यांना नकार देण्यात आला त्यांची घोर निराशा झाली आहे. हरभजन सिंगच्या मते, सरकारने धार्मिक व्हिसा नाकारू नये. दोन्ही सरकारांनी मागणीनुसार व्हिसा प्रदान करणे आवश्यक आहे.
