मुंबई मध्ये एका कॉलेजकडून विद्यार्थींच्या हिजाब, बुरखा, नकाब परिधान कर्ण्याच्या निर्णयामध्ये हस्तक्षेप करण्यास नकार दिला आहे.

Justices A S Chandurkar आणि Rajesh Patil यांच्या खंडपीठाने 9 विद्यार्थीनीनी केलेली याचिका फेटाळली आहे. या विद्यार्थीनी सायन्स डिग्री कोर्सच्या दुसर्या आणि तिसर्या वर्षाच्या विद्यार्थीनी आहेत. याचिकाकर्त्यांकडून असा दावा करण्यात आला आहे की हे नियम त्यांच्या धर्माचे पालन करण्याच्या त्यांच्या मूलभूत अधिकारांच्या, गोपनीयतेचा अधिकार आणि निवडीच्या अधिकाराच्या विरुद्ध आहे.
