Ashok Chavan on INDIA Alliance: आगामी लोकसभा निवडणुकीपूर्वी महाराष्ट्रात सातत्याने राजकीय घडामोडी पाहायला मिळत आहेत. शिवसेना आणि राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसमध्ये फूट पडल्यानंतर काँग्रेसचे ज्येष्ठ नेते आणि राज्याचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री अशोक चव्हाण यांनी भाजपमध्ये प्रवेश केला. आता भाजप त्यांना राज्यसभेवर पाठवणार आहे. पक्षांतराबाबत अशोक चव्हाण म्हणतात, ‘मला आशा आहे की गोष्टी चांगल्या प्रकारे पार पडतील. राज्यसभा सदस्य झाल्यामुळे राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर काम करण्याची अधिक व्यापक संधी आहे. मला वाटले की इथे (भाजपमध्ये) चांगल्या संधी आहेत. राष्ट्रीय परिस्थिती असो किंवा राज्य, भाजपचा आलेख दिवसेंदिवस वाढत आहे. काँग्रेसमध्ये कोणतीही तयारी नाही. त्यामुळे मला वाटते की विजयी पर्याय हा भाजप आहे.’
