पश्चिम बंगालमधील हिंसाचारावरुन केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर यांनी टीका केली आहे. जावडेकर यांनी म्हटले आहे की, ''एखाद्या मंत्र्याच्या ताफ्यावर हल्ला होऊ शकतो तर बंगालमध्ये कोण सुरक्षित आहे? ही हिंसा राज्य पुरस्कृत आहे. आम्ही बंगालमधील हिंसाचाराचा निषेध करतो. दोषींना न्याय मिळवून देण्यासाठी विशेष उपाययोजना कराव्यात.
