आरबीआयने श्री भारत को-ऑपरेटिव्ह बँक लिमिटेड (वडोदरा, गुजरात) आणि संखेडा नागरीक सहकारी बँक लिमिटेड (छोटौदेपूर, गुजरात) यांना प्रत्येकी 5 लाख रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला आहे.
RBI Imposes Penalties On 5 Banks: रिझर्व्ह बँकेने 2024 च्या सुरुवातीला पाच बँकांवर मोठी कारवाई केली आहे. या बँकांना नियमांचे उल्लंघन केल्याबद्दल मोठा दंड ठोठावण्यात आला आहे. आरबीआयने श्री भारत को-ऑपरेटिव्ह बँक लिमिटेड (वडोदरा, गुजरात) आणि संखेडा नागरीक सहकारी बँक लिमिटेड (छोटौदेपूर, गुजरात) यांना प्रत्येकी 5 लाख रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावला आहे. संखेडा नागरी सहकारी बँक लिमिटेडने अशी कर्जे मंजूर केली, ज्यात बँकेच्या संचालकांचे नातेवाईक जामीनदार म्हणून उभे होते. आरबीआयकडून को-ऑपरेटिव्ह अर्बन बँक लिमिटेड (परलाखेमुंडी, ओडिशा) आणि भुज कमर्शियल को-ऑपरेटिव्ह बँक लिमिटेड (कच्छ गुजरात) यांना प्रत्येकी दीड लाख रुपयांचा दंड ठोठावण्यात आला आहे. आरबीआयने लिमडी अर्बन को-ऑपरेटिव्ह बँक लिमिटेडवर सर्वात कमी दंड ठोठावला आहे. दंडाची रक्कम 50 हजार रुपये आहे.
