Leopard Census: गुजरातमध्ये आधुनिक उपकरणांचा वापर करून बिबट्याची गणना सुरू

गुजरातमध्ये (Gujarat) आधुनिक उपकरणाचा  (Modern Equipment)वापर करुन बिबट्याची  (Leopard)गणना सुरू झाली आहे. शेवटची जनगणना 2016 मध्ये झाली होती. सर्वत्र कॅमेरे ट्रॅप लावण्यात आले आहेत. डांगमध्ये बिबट्यांची संख्या बरीच आहे. 2016 मध्ये एकूण 43 बिबट्या होते. आता त्यात वाढ होण्याची अपेक्षा आहे. गेल्या आठवड्यापासून 80 पथके तैनात करण्यात आली आहेत. सायंकाळी 5 ते सकाळी 6 पर्यंत बिबट्याच्या हालचालींची शक्यता असलेल्या ठिकाणी पथके तैनात व बंदोबस्त केले आहे.
