Khardung Himachal: जगातील सर्वाधिक उंचीवर असलेल्या दुसऱ्या रस्त्यावर मोठ्या प्रमाणावर हिमवृष्टी, राज्यातील बस वाहतुकीवर परिणाम

खारदुंगला येथून जाणारा जगातील दुसऱ्या क्रमांकाचा सर्वात उंच रस्ता, ज्यावरून मोटार वाहने जातात, हिवाळ्यातही हा रस्ता खुला ठेवण्यात आला होता. रस्त्यावर मोठ्या प्रमाणात बर्फवृष्टी झाली आहे. बॉर्डर रोड ऑर्गनायझेशन (BRO) कडून हा बर्फ हटवला जात आहे. दरम्यान हिमाचल प्रदेशमधील आठ जिल्ह्यांमध्ये मोठी बर्फवृष्टी झालीय. हिमवर्षामुळं 250 रस्ते बंद झाले असून राज्यातील बस वाहतुकीवर परिणाम झाला आहे. लेहमधील खारदुंगला टॉप रोड हा जगातील दुसऱ्या क्रमांकाचा सर्वात उंच रस्ता आहे. या मार्गावरून पाकिस्तान आणि चीनच्या सीमेसाठी मोक्याचे रस्ते जातात.
