Abraham Lincoln Statue: भारताच्या बहुतांश भागांसह अनेक देशांमध्ये तीव्र उष्णता असून त्यामुळे नागरिकांची अवस्था दयनीय झाली आहे. अमेरिकेतही उष्णतेची लाट कायम असून, त्याचा परिणाम स्थानिक लोकांवरच नाही तर मेणापासून बनवलेल्या पुतळ्यांवरही होताना दिसत आहे. अमेरिकेतील उष्णतेमुळे अमेरिकेचे 16 वे राष्ट्राध्यक्ष अब्राहम लिंकन यांचा पुतळा वितळला आहे. त्यांच्या 6 फूट उंच मेणाच्या पुतळ्याचे वरचे टोक वितळून खाली कोसळले असून मानाचा संपूर्ण भाग खाली वाकला आहे. या मोकळ्या हवेत असलेल्या मेणाच्या पुतळ्याचे खराब झालेले डोके सध्या दुरुस्त केले जात आहे.
