Frank Hoogerbeets Predicted Earthquake in Turkey: सोमवारी पहाटे दक्षिण तुर्की आणि उत्तर सीरियामध्ये 7.8 रिश्टर स्केलच्या शक्तिशाली भूकंपाने संपूर्ण प्रदेशातील इमारती कोसळल्या. तथापि, सौर प्रणाली भूमिती सर्वेक्षण (एसएसजीईओएस) सह काम करणार्या भूकंप संशोधकाने दोन दिवसांपूर्वी या दुर्घटनेची भविष्यवाणी केली होती. यासंदर्भात संशोधकांनी 3 फेब्रुवारी रोजी ट्विट करत म्हटलं होतं की, "लवकरच या प्रदेशात (दक्षिण-मध्य तुर्की, जॉर्डन, सीरिया, लेबनॉन) ~M 7.5 भूकंप होईल." संशोधकांनी वर्तवलेला अंदाज खरा ठरल्याने नेटिझन्सला मोठा धक्का बसला आहे.
