अमेरिकेचा संरक्षण विभाग, पेंटागॉनने सांगितले की, काबूल विमानतळाबाहेर स्फोट झाला आहे. पेंटागॉनचे प्रवक्ते जॉन किर्बी यांनी सांगितले की, गुरुवारी काबूल विमानतळाच्या एबी गेटजवळ मोठा स्फोट झाला व यामध्ये अनेक नागरिक ठार झाले असल्याची शक्यता आहे. आता किर्बी यांनी सांगितले आहे की, एबी गेटपासून थोड्या अंतरावर असलेल्या बॅरन हॉटेलमध्ये किंवा त्याच्या जवळ अजून एक स्फोट झाला आहे.

We can confirm that the explosion at the Abbey Gate was the result of a complex attack that resulted in a number of US & civilian casualties. We can also confirm at least one other explosion at or near the Baron Hotel, a short distance from Abbey Gate. We will continue to update.
