जेरेमी लालरिनुंगाने (Jeremy Lalrinnunga) 2022 च्या राष्ट्रकुल क्रीडा स्पर्धेत भारताला दुसरे सुवर्णपदक मिळवून दिले आहे. मीराबाई चानूनंतर जेरेमीने वेटलिफ्टिंगमध्ये आश्चर्यकारक कामगिरी केली. भारताच्या या स्टार खेळाडूने एकूण 300 किलो वजन उचलले. स्नॅचमध्ये 140 किलो वजन उचलले, ज्यामध्ये त्याने खेळांचा विक्रमही केला. त्याचवेळी जेरेमीने क्लीन अँड जर्कमध्ये 160 किलो वजन उचलले. तिसऱ्या प्रयत्नात त्याला 165 किलो वजन उचलायचे होते, पण तसे घडले नाही. बर्मिंगहॅममध्ये सुवर्णपदक जिंकणारा तो भारतातील पहिला पुरुष खेळाडू आहे. आतापर्यंत भारताला पाच पदके मिळाली असून सर्व पदके वेटलिफ्टिंगमध्ये प्राप्त झाली आहेत.
