बांगलादेश क्रिकेट संघ टी-20 विश्वचषक स्पर्धेच्या उपांत्य फेरीतही पोहोचू शकला नाही. नझमुल हुसेन शांतोच्या नेतृत्वाखालील संघाने सुपर 8 फेरीत ऑस्ट्रेलिया, भारत आणि अफगाणिस्तान यांच्याकडून तिन्ही सामने गमावले आणि ते स्पर्धेतून बाहेर पडले.
बांगलादेश क्रिकेट संघ टी-20 विश्वचषक स्पर्धेच्या उपांत्य फेरीतही पोहोचू शकला नाही. नझमुल हुसेन शांतोच्या नेतृत्वाखालील संघाने सुपर 8 फेरीत ऑस्ट्रेलिया, भारत आणि अफगाणिस्तान यांच्याकडून तिन्ही सामने गमावले आणि ते स्पर्धेतून बाहेर पडले. भारताविरुद्धचा सामना जिंकणे त्यांच्यासाठी महत्त्वाचे होते आणि बीसीबीच्या अधिकाऱ्याने आता खुलासा केला आहे की अशा महत्त्वाच्या सामन्याच्या दिवशी संघाचा उपकर्णधार तस्किन अहमद उशिरा झोपला आणि त्यामुळे संघ बस घेऊ शकला नाही. यानंतर आता तस्कीन अहमदने आपली बाजू मांडत आपण नाणेफेकीच्या अर्धातास पुर्वी मैदानात पोहचल्याचे सांगत तसेच टिम बस ही काही मिनीटांच्या अंतराने सुटल्याचे सांगितले.
