दसरा उत्सवासाठी म्हैसूर पॅलेसमध्ये आणलेले हत्ती शुक्रवारी रात्री बेभान झाल्याचं पहायला मिळालं आहे. कांजन (Kanjan) आणि धनंजया हे दोन हत्ती जेवणाच्या वेळी एकमेकांना भिडले. नंतर धनंजयाने कांजनचा राजवाड्याच्या बाहेर पाठलाग केला. माहूत नसलेल्या कांजन मुळे काही काळ दहशत निर्माण केली. बॅरिकेट्सही तुटले.  मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, यामध्ये कोणीही जखमी झाले नाही. माहुत यांनी वेळीच हस्तक्षेप केल्याने हत्तींना आटोक्यात आणण्यात आले.
