तिसरा ट्रान्सफार्मर कार्यान्वित होण्यासाठी 5 मार्च पर्यंतचा वेळ लागणार असल्याने मुंबई मध्ये पाणीकपातीचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
मुंबई मध्ये दोन दिवसांपूर्वी Pise Water Pumping Station मध्ये आग लागल्याने पाणी पुरवठा विस्कळीत झाला होता. आता या ट्रान्सफॉर्मरच्या दुरूस्तीला वेळ लागणार असल्याने 5 मार्च पर्यंत मुंबईत सर्व विभागांत 15% पाणीकपातीचा निर्णय झाला आहे. 2 ट्रान्सफार्मर व त्याआधारे 15 पंप कार्यांवित करण्यात पालिकेला यश आले आहे पण तिसरा ट्रान्सफार्मर कार्यान्वित होण्यासाठी 5 मार्च पर्यंतचा वेळ लागणार असल्याने मुंबई मध्ये पाणीकपातीचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. परिणामी नागरिकांनी जपून पाणी वापरण्याचे आवाहन करण्यात आले.
