Monsoon's Withdrawal in Maharashtra: मुंबई, नागपूर आणि पुणे येथून मान्सूनची माघार; हवामान खात्याने केली पुष्टी
या वर्षी पावसाळा उशिरा सुरू झाल्याने पाणीसाठा मोठ्या प्रमाणात घटत होता व त्यामुळे बीएमसीने 10% पाणी कपात केली होती. मात्र, जुलैमध्ये पावसाने जोर धरला आणि अखेर शहराला पाणीपुरवठा करणारे सात तलाव भरले.
भारतीय हवामानशास्त्र विभागाने (IMD) शुक्रवारी मुंबईतून मान्सूनने माघार घेतल्याची पुष्टी केली. गेल्या 72 तासांत शहर व उपनगरात पाऊस झालेला नाही, तर हवामान बहुतांश ठिकाणी दमट राहिले. विशेष म्हणजे, पुणे आणि नागपूर येथून एकाच दिवशी मान्सूनने माघार घेतल्याचे हवामान खात्याने सांगितले. सध्या दक्षिण कोकण, गोवा, रत्नागिरी आणि सिंधुदुर्गमध्ये मान्सूनला अनुकूल परिस्थिती आहे. उर्वरित प्रदेशांमध्ये सक्रीय असलेला मान्सून लवकरच माघार घेईल, अशी माहिती आयएमडीने दिली आहे. पुढील दोन-तीन दिवसांत महाराष्ट्रातील इतर भागात आणि तेलंगणा, छत्तीसगड आणि मध्य प्रदेशातील काही भागात माघार घेण्याची शक्यता आहे, असे त्यात म्हटले आहे.
