Investment Fraud: मुंबई आणि नागपुरात ED ची मोठी कारवाई; 15 ठिकाणी छापे, कोट्यवधींचे दागिने आणि रोकड जप्त

गुंतवणूक घोटाळा आणि पीएमएलए 2002 प्रकरणात मोठी कारवाई करत, ईडीने पंकज मेहदियाशी संबंधित मुंबई आणि नागपूरमधील 15 ठिकाणी छापे टाकले. तपास यंत्रणेने 3 मार्च रोजी ही कारवाई केली. यावेळी घोटाळ्यातील मुख्य आरोपी पंकज मेहदिया, लोकेश जैन, कार्तिक जैन यांच्या निवासस्थानांवर तसेच मुख्य लाभार्थ्यांच्या कार्यालय व निवासी जागेवर झडती घेण्यात आली. आतापर्यंत 5.51 कोटी रुपयांचे बेहिशेबी दागिने आणि 1.21 कोटी रुपयांची रोकड जप्त करण्यात आली आहे. पुढील तपास सुरू आहे. तपास एजन्सीच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, ईडीने पंकज नंदलाल मेहदिया, लोकेश संतोष जैन, कार्तिक संतोष जैन, बालमुकुंद लालचंद कील, प्रेमलता नंदलाल मेहदिया यांच्याविरुद्ध नागपूर सीताबर्डी पोलीस स्टेशनमध्ये दाखल केलेल्या एफआयआरच्या आधारे पीएमएलए चौकशी सुरू केली.
