Central Railway's Ticket-Checking drive: मध्य रेल्वेने विना तिकीट प्रवाशांकडून वसूल केला 100 कोटींचा दंड

मुंबईतील गाड्यांमधील विना तिकीट (Without Ticket)  प्रवास करणाऱ्यांच्या संख्येत वाढ ही होत आहे. मध्य रेल्वे (Central Railway) मार्गावर रेल्वे प्रशासनाच्या सर्व प्रयत्नांनंतरही यावर आळा बसत नाही आहे. मध्य रेल्वेने एप्रिल 2022 ते फेब्रुवारी 2023 या कालावधीत विना तिकीट प्रवास करताना पकडलेल्या लोकांची आकडेवारी जाहीर केली. विना तिकीट प्रवास करणाऱ्या प्रवाशांकडून रेल्वेने मुंबई विभागात 100 कोटी रुपये दंड म्हणून वसूल केले आहे. मध्य रेल्वेच्या तिकीट तपासणीला वेग (Ticket Checking drive) दिल्याने तब्बल अठरा लाखांपेक्षा अधिक लोकांवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. प्रवाशांनी नेहमी वैध तिकीटासह प्रवास करण्याचे आवाहन मध्य रेल्वेने केले आहे.
