Vehicle Rules: दुचाकीवर 4 वर्षांखालील मुलांसाठी सेफ्टी हार्नेस, क्रॅश हेल्मेट अनिवार्य, रस्ते वाहतूक आणि महामार्ग मंत्रालयाची नवीन नियमावली जारी
रस्ते वाहतूक आणि महामार्ग मंत्रालयाने 15 फेब्रुवारी 2022 रोजी जारी केलेल्या अधिसूचनेच्या माध्यमातून सीएमव्हीहीआर, 1989 च्या नियम 138 मध्ये सुधारणा केली. त्यानुसार चार वर्षांखालील मुलांना घेऊन दुचाकीवर मागे बसवून नेणे किंवा त्यांना दुचाकीवरून नेण्यासाठी केलेल्या सुरक्षा उपाययोजनांशी संबंधित नियम निर्धारित केले आहेत. मोटार वाहन कायद्याच्या कलम 129 अंतर्गत हे नियम अधिसूचित करण्यात आले आहेत. या नियमांमध्ये सुरक्षा सामग्री आणि मजबूत हेल्मेटचा वापर त्याचप्रमाणे अशा दुचाकीचा वेग 40 किमी प्रतितास पर्यंत मर्यादित असावा हे नमूद करण्यात आले आहे. केंद्रीय मोटार वाहन नियम, 2022 प्रसिद्ध झाल्यापासून एका वर्षानंतर हे नियम लागू होतील.
