Paytm, Google Pay, Phonepe यांसारख्या UPI पेमेंटवर कोणतेही शुल्क आकारले जाणार नाही, सरकारने म्हटले- यामुळे अर्थव्यवस्थेला होत आहे फायदा
सरकार UPI सेवांवर कोणत्याही प्रकारचे शुल्क आकारण्याचा विचार करत नाही.
युनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) द्वारे केलेल्या पेमेंटवर कोणतेही शुल्क आकारण्याचा कोणताही हेतू नसल्याचे अर्थ मंत्रालयाने स्पष्ट केले आहे. मीडियामध्ये अशा बातम्या होत्या की, RBI एक नवीन प्रस्ताव अनु शकते, ज्या अंतर्गत UPI पेमेंट करण्यासाठी ग्राहकांकडून शुल्क आकारले जाईल. म्हणजेच हे पेमेंट पूर्णपणे मोफत असणार नाही. यावर स्पष्टीकरण देताना, अर्थ मंत्रालयाने एक निवेदन जारी करून म्हटले आहे की, सरकार UPI सेवांवर कोणत्याही प्रकारचे शुल्क आकारण्याचा विचार करत नाही. UPI सेवेचा भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेला खूप फायदा होत असल्याचे अर्थ मंत्रालयाने म्हटले आहे. UPI पेमेंट भारतात खूप लोकप्रिय झाले आहे आणि त्यावर कोणत्याही प्रकारचे शुल्क लादल्यास डिजिटल पेमेंट सिस्टमला मोठा धक्का बसेल.
