HC Strict Observation On Helmet: केरळ हायकोर्टाचा महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय, आजारी व्यक्तीलाही बाईक चालवताना हेल्मेट सक्तीचे
देशातील वाढत्या रस्ते अपघातांबाबत केरळ उच्च न्यायालयाने महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय दिला आहे.
देशातील वाढत्या रस्ते अपघातांबाबत केरळ उच्च न्यायालयाने महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय दिला आहे. प्रत्यक्षात दुचाकी चालवताना हेल्मेट न घालण्यासाठी एका आजारी व्यक्तीने न्यायालयात याचिका दाखल केली होती. त्याच्यावर उपचार सुरू असल्याने त्याच्या डोक्यावर हेल्मेटसह जड वस्तू ठेवता येत नाही, असा युक्तिवाद याचिकाकर्त्यांनी केला होता. अशा परिस्थितीत त्यांना हेल्मेट न घालण्यासाठी सूट देण्यात यावी. परंतु न्यायालयाने याचिकाकर्त्यांच्या प्रार्थनेचा विचार करण्यास नकार देत दुचाकी चालवताना हेल्मेट घालण्यापासून कोणालाही सूट देता येणार नाही, असे सांगितले.
