विंडशील्ड क्रॅक झाल्याचा संशय आल्याने विमानाला प्रथम विमानतळावर उतरण्याची परवानगी द्यावी, असे वैमानिकाने विमानतळाला कळवले होते.
पुण्याहून दिल्लीला जाणाऱ्या विमानाला दिल्लीच्या इंदिरा गांधी आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळावर प्राधान्याने उतरवण्यात आले. विंडशील्ड क्रॅक झाल्याचा संशय आल्याने विमानाला प्रथम विमानतळावर उतरण्याची परवानगी द्यावी, असे वैमानिकाने विमानतळाला कळवले होते. त्यामुळे विमान तातडीने धावपट्टीवर सामान्यपणे उतरवले गेले. विमान एअर इंडियाचे होते. याआधी दिल्लीहून श्रीनगरला जाणाऱ्या स्पाईसजेटच्या फ्लाइटला कॉकपिटच्या खोट्या अलर्टमुळे परत दिल्लीच्या विमानतळावर उतरावे लागले होते.
