मेटा (Meta) ने नवीन आयटी (IT) नियम, 2021 चे पालन करून फेब्रुवारी महिन्यात फेसबुकसाठी 13 पॉलिसी आणि इन्स्टाग्राम (Instagram) साठी 12 पॉलिसींमधील 28 दशलक्षाहून अधिक कंटेंट काढून टाकला आहे. 1 फेब्रुवारी ते 28 फेब्रुवारी दरम्यान, मेटाने फेसबुकच्या 24.8 दशलक्ष कंटेंटवर आणि इन्स्टाग्रामच्या 3.3 दशलक्ष कंटेंटवर कारवाई केली. फेब्रुवारीमध्ये, मेटाला भारतीय तक्रार यंत्रणेद्वारे 1,647 अहवाल प्राप्त झाले आणि त्यातील 100 टक्के अहवालांना प्रतिसाद दिला गेला. कंपनीने वापरकर्त्यांना 585 प्रकरणांमध्ये त्यांच्या समस्यांचे निराकरण करण्यासाठी साधने प्रदान केली आहेत. इतर 1,062 अहवालांपैकी ज्यांना त्यांच्या कंटेंटच्या रिव्ह्यूची गरज होती त्यांचा कंटेंट रिव्ह्यू केला गेला आणि एकूण 379 अहवालांवर कारवाई केली.
