मुंबई शहरात मुंबई पोलिसांकडून विशेष बंदोबस्त करण्यात आला आहे. मुंबईतील सर्व प्रमुख गर्दीच्या ठिकाणी पोलीस कर्मचारी तैनात करण्यात आले आहेत. तसेच मद्यपान करून वाहन चालवणे आणि रॅश ड्रायव्हिंगला आळा घालण्यासाठी शहरातील 100 पॉईंट्सवर पोलिस पिकेट्स स्थापन करण्यात आल्या आहेत, ज्यामुळे ड्रन्क अण्ड ड्राईव्ह करणाऱ्यांवर चाप बसेल. तसेच महिला सुरक्षेसाठी फिरते पोलिस पथके आणि साध्या वेशातील पोलिस कर्मचारी शहरात तैनात केले आहेत.
