Lok Sabha Polls 2024: नाशिकच्या गोवर्धन गावातील लोकांची 20 मे रोजी मतदानावर बहिष्कार टाकण्याची घोषणा

Govardhan Village Declare to Boycott Voting: भारतात 20 मे रोजी लोकसभा निवडणुकीचा पाचवा टप्पा पार पडणार आहे. पाचव्या टप्प्यात नाशिकसह महाराष्ट्रातील 13 जागांसाठी निवडणूक होणार आहे. आता नाशिकच्या गोवर्धन गावातील मतदारांनी 20 मे रोजी होणाऱ्या लोकसभा निवडणुकीवर बहिष्कार टाकण्याची घोषणा केली आहे. गावातील एका ग्रामसेवकावर भ्रष्टाचाराचे आरोप झाले होते, त्यामुळे ग्रामस्थांनी निवडणुकीवर बहिष्कार टाकण्याची घोषणा केली.

याबाबत जिल्हाधिकारी जलज शर्मा म्हणाले, 'मतदानावर बहिष्काराची घोषणा ऐकल्यानंतर गावातील लोकांशी बोलणे सुरू आहे. त्यांच्या समस्या सोडविण्याचे आश्वासन देण्यात आले आहे. परंतु तक्रारीनंतर कारवाई करण्याचे काही नियम आणि प्रक्रिया आहेत. त्याअंतर्गत काम केले जाते. भ्रष्टाचाराच्या तक्रारींवर कारवाई केली जाईल. गावचे प्रतिनिधी येऊन भेटले व आम्ही बोलून हा प्रश्न सोडवू.'
