महाराष्ट्रातील लाऊडस्पीकरचा वाद संपताना दिसत नाही. रविवारी महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेचे प्रमुख राज ठाकरे म्हणाले की, लाऊडस्पीकरचा मुद्दा नवीन नाही आणि धार्मिक मुद्दा नाही, तर सामाजिक आहे. 4 मे पासून कोणाचेही ऐकणार नसल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. ते म्हणाले की 3 मे पर्यंत मशिदींमधून सर्व लाऊडस्पीकर काढून टाकण्याच्या राज्य सरकारला दिलेल्या अल्टिमेटमवर ते ठाम आहेत. अशात त्यांनी एक ट्वीट केले आहे, ज्यामध्ये त्यांनी आवाहन केले आहे की, ईदचा सण आनंदाने साजरा होऊ दे तसेच अक्षय्य तृतीयेला कुठेही आरत्या करू नका.
