Deccan Queen ची आज 94 वी तर Punjab Mail ची 112 वी वर्षपूर्ती !
Deccan Queen च्या आज 95 व्या बर्थडे ला ती ब्लॉक मुळे चालत नसली तरीही पुणे स्थानकांत प्रवाशांनी सेलिब्रेशन केले आहे.
भारताची पहिली सुपरफास्ट ट्रेन डेक्कन क्वीन आज 94 वर्ष पूर्ण करत आहे. या ट्रेनचा पहिला प्रवास 1जून 1930 दिवशी कल्याण ते पुणे असा झाला होता. आता ही ट्रेन सीएसटीएम पर्यंत धावते. आज मुंबईत सीएसएमटी स्थानकात मेगा ब्लॉक सुरू असल्याने ट्रेनची फेरी रद्द असली तरीही पुण्यात स्थानकात तिला आणून सेलिब्रेशन करण्यात आले. आजच्या दिवशी 1912 ला पंजाब मेल धावली होती तिची देखील आज 112वी वर्षपूर्वी आहे.
