गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून दरवाढीचा फटका सहन करणाऱ्या सीएनजी वापरकर्त्यांना आता काहीसा दिलासा मिळणार आहे. पुणे शहरात कॉम्प्रेस्ड नॅचरल गॅस (CNG) ची किंमत 4 रुपयांनी कमी झाली आहे. आता पुण्यात सीएनजी 87 रुपये प्रतिकिलो दराने उपलब्ध होणार आहे, पूर्वी हा दर 91 रुपये किलो होता. यापूर्वी, सीएनजीवरील व्हॅट 10 टक्क्यांनी कमी करण्यात आला होता, दर प्रति किलो 6.30 रुपयांनी कमी केला होता.
