महाराष्ट्रामध्ये 6 राज्यसभा जागांवर 27 फेब्रुवारी दिवशी निवडणूक होणार आहे.
कॉंग्रेस मधून भाजपा मध्ये आलेल्या अशो चव्हाण यांना दुसर्याच दिवशी पक्षाने राज्यसभेसाठी महाराष्ट्रातून उमेदवारी जाहीर केली. आज राज्यसभा निवडणूकीसाठी अर्ज दाखल करण्याचा शेवटचा दिवस आहे. दरम्यान अर्ज भरण्यापूर्वी चव्हाणांनी प्रभादेवी येथे श्रीसिद्धिविनायकाचे दर्शन घेतले आहे. यावेळी त्यांच्यासोबत कार्यकर्ते होते. भाजपा कडून अशोक चव्हाणांसोबत डॉ. मेधा कुलकर्णी आणि अजित गोपछडे यांनाही उमेदवारी जाहीर झाली आहे.
