महाराष्ट्रात उद्धव ठाकरे गटाचे खासदार, एनसीपी यांच्याकडून या नव्या संसद इमारतीच्या उद्घाटनाला आपण जाणार नसल्याचं जाहीर करण्यात आलं आहे.
नव्या संसद भवनाचं उद्घाटन भारताच्या राष्ट्रपतींच्या हस्ते व्हावं यासाठी सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात PIL दाखल करण्यात आली आहे. याचिकाकर्त्याने Lok Sabha Secretariat कडून संविधानाचं उल्लंघन झाल्याचा दावा केला आहे. राष्ट्राच्या प्रमुख असणार्या राष्ट्रपतींना आमंत्रण न देणं हे चूकीचं असल्याचं म्हटलं आहे. दरम्यान 28 मे दिवशी दिल्लीत नव्या संसद भवनाचं उद्घाटन असून त्याला देशभरातून प्रमुख विरोधी पक्षांनी जाणार नसल्याचं जाहीर केलं आहे.
