Wayanad Tragedy: केरळच्या वायनाड जिल्ह्यातील मोठी दुर्घटना; जीप दरीत कोसळल्याने 9 जणांचा मृत्यू, 3 जखमी
घात झालेल्या जीपमधील महिला मजूर चहाच्या बागेत काम करून घरी परतत होत्या. ही घटना दुपारी 3.30 च्या सुमारास घडली.
केरळच्या वायनाड जिल्ह्यातील मनंथावाडीजवळ शुक्रवारी 12 जणांना घेऊन जाणारी जीप 30 मीटर खोल दरीत पडली, त्यात सर्व महिलांसह नऊ जण ठार झाले आहेत. तर अन्य तिघे गंभीर जखमी झाले आहे. अपघात झालेल्या जीपमधील महिला मजूर चहाच्या बागेत काम करून घरी परतत होत्या. ही घटना दुपारी 3.30 च्या सुमारास घडली. अपघातात ठार झालेले सर्व जण वायनाड जिल्ह्यातील रहिवासी असल्याचे प्राथमिक अहवालात म्हटले आहे. राज्याचे वनमंत्री एके ससेंद्रन यांनी सांगितले की, मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन यांनी त्यांना मनंथावाडी रुग्णालयात जाण्याचे निर्देश दिले, जिथे जखमींवर उपचार केले जात आहेत. मृतदेहही याच रुग्णालयात असल्याचे अहवालात सांगण्यात आले आहे.
