यंदा 3 जुलैला सुरू झालेली अमरनाथ यात्रा 7 ऑगस्ट पर्यंत चालणार आहे. दरवर्षी मोठ्या संख्येने भाविक या यात्रेत सहभागी होतात.
अमरानाथ यात्रेच्या बालटाल मार्गावर भूस्खलन झाल्यामुळे एक अपघात झाला आहे, ज्यामध्ये महिला यात्रेकरूचा मृत्यू झाला. तर तीन जण जखमी आहेत. त्याच वेळी, खराब हवामानाच्या अंदाजामुळे, जम्मूहून अमरनाथ यात्रा पुढील आदेशापर्यंत स्थगित करण्यात आली आहे. मृत महिला 55 वर्षीय असून मूळची राजस्थानची आहे. सध्या बालटाल आणि पहलगाम दोन्ही मार्गांवरील यात्रा स्थगित आहे.
